Space wise it will hold 8-10 easy, I mean its total weight, Like the max weight limit of people and gear.

I have seen people put 3000lbs in them. As for the coast guard rating, I am not quite sure.

Over 3 thousand pounds in ballast, Plus 8-10 people, and boards, gear and a cooler....He's pushin it. I'm sure water over the bow is nothing new.

I would never put that much in. Stock and wedge take me as far as i need.

I don't know if he has a wedge or is using his wedge, But I think he's nuts. Well maybe because he used to ride with pros, maybe they needed that much weight...I don't know but I think it's a little overkill.

If your technique is decent, then you don't need a huge wake to do most any trick. I see a lot of guys that need a gigantic wake because their technique is poor. A big wake actually handicaps them.

I am kind of like a fat old guy who coaches basketball, I am no good at it, but can see it in others.
