The LSV is awesome. Saw all the pics of NuckNFuts RZ4. It is pretty tight. The huge difference's between mine and his where trailer, tower and bimini.

I believe I posted in some trailer thread previously about how the Extreme trailer's prop guard would drag on everything because it was at least 10' back from the last axle.

The new tower and bimini on a boat that has only been in production for a few months, speaks for itself on the issues I have with my tower and bimini. If in fact the new setup is an improvement, you guys should all be thanking my for that. I was quite the PIA with those issues. Now if they would narrow the swim platform on the RZs. I was also a huge PIA voice about that too.

All platforms that I have seen with Tige are 2 feet long... Big but as long as it doesn't mess up the wake, I don't mind.

Good to hear the new ride is working out for you and thanks for the suggests for the RZ4. I don't plan to purchase one since I have a need for it but again, I just bought my boat last year and would lose my arse if I were to sell it now.... But, will keep it and see what comes.

Illusion Tower - May be ugly, can be a headbanger for someone over 6'2". But here are the good things. There are no obstructions for the driver, as there are no down tubes going in front of the windshield. It collapses and uprights in seconds. Racks don't break and fall off. The bimini is a thing of genius. Simple, tight, low profile, doesn't rub against anything.
What happened with you and you RZ?

8 hrs is even less time than the other guy with the blown engine gave Tige to fix his problem J/K, What was so horrible about the boat? Did you buy it "sight unseen" or some thing?

Sorry that you had such a bad time of it. Sounds like if you had a good sales person, they would have realized that you were not going to be happy downgrading to a Tige.

Hey turbo thanks for the unbiased input on the tower! And just cuz you aren't a Tige owner anymore doesnt mean you can't show off your boat! Let's see some pics of that 23 LSV!

                          Turbo,

Good to still see you trolling around a little bit. Hope the new boat is working out. I did notice when looking at the boats recently that because of the width of the RZ nose, the trailer had to be extended in the front by about 18 inches to avoid one of the lead edges hitting the toe vehicle in a tight turn. It looks a little funny to see the hitch so far away from the boat, with a long extension piece welded on.

I wish I had thought to notice about the distance from rear axle to prop guard. My driveway is fairly flat, so I doubt it would be an issue.

I think turbo noticed that the swim step does interfere with the surfing wake, which has been documented in several places before. That is on both RZ models.

I think that Turbo wanted the latest and greatest and probably did buy the RZ4 just based on the hype that came with it. Unfortunately, some items were not up to par. Designing a decent bimini would be something that a 3rd year engineering major should be able to do...but tige continually makes it difficult. The bimini on my 05 24V is awesome, can be set up with one person, and folds up decently. It is sturdy as well. Then they make a new tower, with no forethought about how to make a bimini that works well with it.
                          Be excellent to one another.

I will post pics of the LSV soon as soon as I take some. I know I have had it for 4 weeks and haven't taken any. I was a little burnt out of picture documenting after the RZ4. You can see my many production photos, wake photos and, stereo install photos around this forum of the RZ4. The LSV is all white with two small black stripes. Very clean and classic looking. May have seen me out in the Phoenix area or at the last AWA comp at Pleasant. I have two pairs of Pro60s that everyoen asks to hear.

I can offer up this pic of the wake.

                            LSV Wake.JPG

Unfortunately, I am legally not able to talk about the issues I had with the RZ4. Yes, it could be that embarrassing for Tige. Sorry guys.

"Downgrade" I don't know about that. But I can say that I am much happier with a 23 LSV that was $10,000 less. I know that is a little bit of apples and oranges, so I think it would be more fair to compare a 23 LSV to a RZ2.

Sorry for the hijack. When I get pics of the LSV I will shamefully post them up.

So Tige took the boat back and wrote a contract up to shut you up....

I tested the RZ4 and made a very informed decision. I also bought based on some statements that turned out to not be totally accurate. With that and the "issues" I had, I decided that I just couldn't own a Tige.

Tige would've needed my boat every week for the next 3 months to fix all the "issues". Sorry, but I just wasn't excited about transporting my new $85,000 boat back and forth to the dealer every week to get worked on because of poor engineering and lack of QC.

Sales person was great. Just wish he sold Malibus.
