I'm 260# and our 5.7 flips me over the front of the ski and ripped me out of my boots!!!
Not that the 6.0 can not pull me out. It is that it does not pull me out at the right point. It seems just as I start to come out to the water the boat needs to accelerate and it does not. We just have to play with it a little more and figure it all out. Growing up I always started single ski from the shore line. I would rest the back of the ski on lake bottom to balance it for the initial start. In open water it is not as easy. It seems on the direct drive boats there is a little more whole shot than what this boat has and it may be because they are lighter and smaller boats. Not sure.
i'll tell you all right now that anhaney's hole shot is different due to his prop, you have to really drag them a bit, before it will pull you out. It's like a slug till about 5mph then it rips you out.

You boat should have plenty of hole shot....Don't take this the wrong way I think your are just not use to getting up in deep water. Are you starting from a dead stop or with the boat in gear?
Put your hand on a hot stove for a minute, and it seems like an hour. Sit with a pretty girl for an hour, and it seems like a minute. THAT'S relativity. Albert Einstein

Don't know Domsz was driving. I just told him to go for it. Then held on for dear life to try and pull out. Maybe I need to start doing some pull ups to get the upper body strength to get out. I have lost 15 pounds since the first of June that should help.
I remember the first time I skied behind our tige I said hit it and before I knew it I was up in the air out of my ski and flying like superman for a sec until I hit the water.

What prop are you running? I am thinking of putting on my 537 to see if it changes anything.
Dito.... I haven't boarded on water that nice all year

anhaney's boat does not have much pull out. It is even takes a minute to pull me out on a wake board. I don't know what the deal is. When he was sking, I gave it all she had and also tried the drift a bit and pull, either or she felt like a slug in the water.

Probably sounds like anhaney needs a different prop. My 537 on my boat doesn't have any problems. I have had friends that have told me to slow down on my hole shot.
