Someday we are going to have to hook up at Powell. I want to take my wife and kids there. I know they will love it. While growing up I went to that lake about five years in a row. Had a blast. I remember taking the boogie boards and sliding down a sand hill into the water. That was fun.
Have fun at Powell. Wish I could be there
Yeah, it was a blast! We had the whole family from the 2 year old to the 14 year old and all had a good time. We played around a lot on the sand hill up Navajo canyon.
The good thing about Lake Powell is that even if it is down 60 feet, the water level near the dam is still at 500 feet. Instead of 1900 miles of shoreline, you may only have 1600 miles of shoreline. I can live with that

That is it???? We are about 40 feet low right now if not more... My lake has 12 launches and only 3 are working because of the water level. We will be down to one launch ramp by the end of summer.
