I thought I'd never see the day where I'd need a heater, but we were out on Wednesday and I actually got chilled. It's July in Texas...go figure!

Lights- Docking lights, plus more up on the tower. Plus the transom light. I dont know who's idea this was, but wow. If the water is clear, you can actually see underwater while you're surfing at err... night

SS rubrail- mines ok after some tweaking. Not sure if I'd order it again.

Bimini- I got mine later... wont ever order a boat w/o one again!

Definitely got with the 340 or 360HO. The 6.0L is overkill.

Color- anything but red. Too many red boats now. (mine included)
        - would probably go w/ navy and black. burned feet are for sissies! (but carry a super soaker to keep the ladies from burning their tootsies )

Factory or dealer installed ballast. The newer models seem to have this figured out. Still, if your dealer installs bigger sacks, using the factory plumbing, that would be ideal.

Sound- go with the factory wetsounds stuff. Possibly upgrade the free air wetsounds to their 12" w/ an enclosure. Or, you can go with something that will shake your <cough> while you're driving... like a JL 13W3v3. yay.

Go with light colored seats, cuz the ladies dont like their heinies to get burned. (still keep above said super soaker on hand though).

GET THE RZ SERIES SEAT!!!!! I've had the distinct pleasure of resting my tuckus on one of these beauties. very nice. I can only imagine the cool breeze blowing past my wet... <ahem>just get the seat

Heater- you'll appreciate this on those cold nights when you're headed back to the dock. Or, if you're on lake austin, any given evening of the year.

Tower- E-series tower. Although the Z-series tower is higher up, it should be a lot less shaky (i.e. should be more stable)... especially for a $3k upgrade.

Platform- Teak or composite... it all boils down to preference.

Trailer- get LED lights. That way you wont have to change bulbs. ever.

Bow filler cushion- do I even need to mention what kind of activities this is good for?

Walkthrough windscreen- now standard, but worth mentioning.

SS package- helps retain resale value, and "bling factor"

yeah... whats up with all this rain?

Dogbert- are you going to make it out to the reunion this weekend? I'll probably be out there, but my boat wont be... didnt want to take it by myself, then leave it out in the rain all week.

Ruune, I have the Z tower and have absolutely no shakes, wobbles or noise. I have taken it through some heavy chop all while having four boards, tower speakers and the bimini on it. I have to say the Z tower is probably one of my favorite features on the boat.

I'll be there with my two boys. I am bringing my boat since we've been going out on Lake Austin during the week. See you there!

I looked at many boats on Wednesday. My dealer called the Z tower the Cheezy tower. I think his biggest complaint was that it is very, very difficult to put down. I would get it because I don't have to put my tower down to get it into the garage. So you guys who have one, and like it, do you put it down? For a 3K upgrade, I am not so sure.

The heater is a super nice feature.
Almost any feature that can be done at your dealer or on your own will be cheaper.
I wondered about just having Tige install the tanks for me and letting me do the plumbing. I like getting some ballast out of the way.
Tige is stupid in keeping the dark vinyl. Around here you could fry an egg on the vinyl. Maybe I will take an egg and a spatula on my next trip to prove it. They tell me it would not cost any more to get the vinyl all lighter colors.
                  Be excellent to one another.

Anybody know how much a trailer option is?

                    EZ-Loader Illuision X w/lighted bunks?

I have an EZ Loader Illusion X with lighted bunks - think it was $6,500, possibly $6,000 - can't remember which.

hmmm... thats interesting b/c the complaints I've heard from friends with it say that its not as stabe as the E tower. Might be a fluke w/ a wobble or just a perspective thing. Still... I kinda like the way the E tower parallels the windshield lines.

dog... see you there! Maybe we can win tug of war again this year!

back on topic- one other thing I'd mention about trailers: instead of EZ Loader, I'd go for a Magnum trailer. You can have them custom designed from the ground up, with whatever you want. My next boat will probably have electric discs on all four wheels.(was just looking at a 24vé on the way home from work today)

The bunk lights aren't as bright as I thought they would be but they definitely help out a bunch! The rest of the lights are super bright and the Tigé emblem lights up blue at night - so cool! I'm glad that I upgraded to this trailer, handles corners like a dream, stops super nice and smooth. 4 wheel independent suspension and 4 wheel disc brakes.

I know Dorsey make good trailers, the 21i has a Dorsey Tandem but it's kept on a lift year-round. I'll get a pic of the trailer this weekend, it has grass growing up throught it from sitting for so long.

I was with my Dealer Stateamind Watersports when loading a 22ve last summer, EZ Loader Illusion X and backed it in and missed once(driver error) and second time right up on there, gone from the ramp in about 5mins
