Spell check

I use spell check on this site. I don't know if it is specific to my web browser, computer or something else? I use a Mac and Safari as my default web browser.

In the box I type in I right mouse click anywhere and a menu pops up and says:
Cut
Copy
Paste
Spelling> Spelling...
Check Spelling
Check Spelling as you type
Font>
Speech>
Writing Directions>

I have Check spelling as you type checked and it checks the spelling as you type like Word and other word processing programs. It adds a little red line underneath it until you fix it or ignore it. You can right mouse click on the red line underneath the misspelled word and it will give you the correctly spelled word.

Is it just me or can or does anyone else use it?

It's b/c you are using safari on a mac.

Internet explorer users on windows can download iespell from www.iespell.com. Firefox has a component as well. Opera has it default, and you can now use safari on windows.....that is if you like looking at messed up websites.

It dosen't allow me I guess, it shows up

cut
copy
paste
delete
select all

I see the abc with the check mark by it in the top right corner of the box, but I cannot install it, if theres a word I think I don't know How to spell, I use SpellCheck.net

I did not mean that this site dose not allow it, I meant it won't work for me.

Thansk, I ment like My server dosen't offer it to me, I tried to download iespell or whatever but it wont comprehend hahahaha

Wannabe, what version of an operating system are you using?

Windows or Mac OS's?
If Windows: What user settings do you have regarding security? (User, Admin, Power User,...)

I think his father set him up under a Windows User account..... He can not install the product but has to have his father do it....

It's becuase I installed AIM on my computer and It like took over so we had to like reset everthing and i got a limited acc. but its all fixed now

Are you going to have the spell checker installed so you can us it? IMO, people are getting frustrated with the spelling that you are doing. We do not dislike you and I am not trying to be rude either. Please install the spell checker and use it. Thanks.

Hey give him a break! There are lots of misspellings and I'm sure at some point, everyone's done it. This forum is about sharing of ideas and getting information even though we stray off topic from time to time.

Thanks Dog and I realize that but when the kid doesn't know what capitalizm is and then mispells a lot, we are only trying to help him out. I use spell check as often as I can but I know I do miss some.

I don't know what they are teaching children today in school but from what I have seen on this site from the <16 year olds, I'm scared!!!!
