what do you mean surf prop? I have never heard of a "surf specific" prop.. Is that what you're talking about or are you talking about a prop w/ a higher pitch?

Haven't noticed any sluggish hole-shots while surfing but may re-prop w/an ACME this winter for boarding. Sac'ed out + peeps she is a little slow but still pulls good

I think our has too much pitch... Idk but it has a stainless steel prop on there that I didnt put on it from when I bought it from a guy in GA. But Getting up is pretty pathetic compared to my neighbors nautique that has the same size engine and its a V-drive. And the boat viberates and shakes alot too getting up... Anyone else have the problem?

get an acme CNC machined prop... they're lighter and more hydrodynamic.

Yes...sort of. It is actually made of Nibral. A nickel - brass - alluminum alloy, if I understand correctly.

I have never heard of someone getting a prop specifically for surfing, as that hole shot is not critical to the rider getting up easily.

I have a 537, and find it works super well.

You have the stock prop for that boat. Get an Acme 525. We surf with it all the time and it yanks my fat a$$ right up! It's a CNC machined prop.
