They can be fun.... Even more fun when your friends are drunk and stupid... But, being on the water drunk and stupid?????? I would prefer to be drunk and stupid at home..... Now I guess I better stay off the lake...... "Stupid is as Stupid Does" he he he

yeah, nobody on our boat usually gets stupid drunk, and they certainly don't ride if they are. That said, do people ride if they are a little goofy? absolutely
Reality is only an illusion that occurs due to a lack of alcohol.

So I know you can get a DUI on a bike and a skateboard (in CA at least).. so can you get pulled over by the H2-5-O and get a ticket for drinking and riding?
If you ain't falling.. you ain't trying hard enough..

Here are the 3 ropes we have. The one on the left is the first one we made from an old wakeboard rope. It used to have 2 foam handles at the end where the rope is split, but they finally gave up the ghost. The one in the middle we bought and the one on the rightis one that Larry Mann (TrickBoardz/FAE) gave us to try. I really like the handle one on the right, but I worry about it wrapping around limbs. For that, the other two seem safer, but all 3 are just fine.

The one on the right is easier for me because I have screws and plates in my left hand, so I have to take it easy on the handle when getting yanked out of the water. It lets me put my left hand over my right and use it primarily for balance.

All ropes have loops at 10', 15' and 20'. Seems like we use the 15' the most, but one of the boards the kids use allows them to ride further back, so they sometimes use the longer length. We always mount it to the tower because it's so much easier to get up.

Do you have to ask permission to go to the bathroom out there, too?

Dog, we have the same handle on our boat also. We like it because if simulates a wakeboard rope from the handle standpoint. However, the handle is smaller than the wakeboard handle, it is very easy to get up.

I think it's origin is a trick ski rope. It probably needs some kind of cover over the 3' section right before the handle to keep it from accidentally wrapping around limbs.
