Its averaging 750 page loads a day so far. It went online Sunday. It hasn't been fully indexed by google yet. I think I got lucky with the top level domain name. Ads and pay per clicks are already in the works, and I should be getting direct access to perfect pass ordering and some other goodies too. Getting a new site with forums rolling take a loonnnggg time. You also can't plan to make much more than your hosting fees for years. For comparison wakeworld started in 1996 and gets a quarter million page loads a month; that's why they can charge the bucks for ads, but it is a full time job for 3 people. Mine has been nearly full time for about a week now; except today while I rebuilt half a site for a client that got hit by a spam/hacker bot.
I have been addressing the issues with the galleries and forums as they have taken a bit of going through the GPL code to modify to make it work. I also have been working with the templating, and of course a logo. Went with a simple globe and wakeboard racks. I really want it to be similar to the truckworld.com sites with features and how tos.....this industry needs more of those.
BTW you guys can host videos or whatever over there if you want. I still have plenty of bandwidth that probably won't be close to my limits for months.
You guys need to do some writeups on your boats so I can host them over there.
I am not leaving this site, never will. Still check it daily. Tigeowers was/is the first boat site I joioned and actually liked the people on.
