I understand that things break or go bad but I bought this boat a year and a half ago I would think anything that would go out and cost me $450.00 to get fixed would at least be partially covered. I sure hope Tige does the right thing and stands behind their product.
I will keep you updated as we progress with this issue.
We'll see what happens.

If I can talk the wife into it, I will be there next weekend, the weekend of the 3rd of August. She may not go for it, but we'll see.
We camped at the campground at the Wahweap marina, but I would go to Lone Rock beach if I did not have 12 people and just one boat. Driving all of our stuff over with just one boat would have been too much. Beware of driving your tow rig on the beach, the sand can get soft.
If any of you see my big red 24V, be sure to track me down and say hello! The weather right now has been a little crazy with beautiful mornings and then clouds and storms in the afternoon, at times pouring down an inch of rain in 15 minutes in localized areas. But it has not been over 100 degrees. So as long as the wind does not come up, a little rain is no big deal. When the wind comes up at Powell, you better be looking for a cove to hide from the whitecaps.Be excellent to one another.

We are planning on putting in at antelope point. We want to go up the lake a little ways and find a place to camp. Years ago we use to go up to gunsight to camp and it was awesome. But back then the lake was so much higher. So I dont know how much that area up there has changed. Where headed to the lake on thursday, and will stay until saturday.

After tons of phone calls and be put on hold here is what I got. Tige only warranties them for one year after that you have to go to the original manufacturer. In this case its Lenco. Lenco warranties the part for 3 years. If you are still in that 3 year time frame no problem. The way it works is either you or the dealer doing the work sends them the broken one and they send out a new one.
The reason I had so many problems was because Lenco was saying that the part was manufactured in 2004 so it is out of the warranty. But I bought my boat new in 2006 so it is still covered. I had to fax Lenco a copy of the original sales contract form when I bought the boat to prove that I bought it in 2006 not 2004.
So long storry short is Lenco is going to replace the part. But what a hassle!Last edited by five o'clock; 08-08-2007, 06:49 PM.
