When i get around to a new boat it'll be a 'glass deck with HydroTurf or something like it in place of the black rubber. The stuff last forever and doesn't break down like the black rubber does.

This weekend was inspecting the deck again and found two more cracks. Now I'm up to four boards cracking. this replacement deck is only about 1 year old. Its been oiled and covered. Had REAL TEAK on my previous boat for 20 years with no cracks or warping.

True, but when you order the boat it says "TEAK!!" swimstep!!!

So in this case people did not get what the thought they paid for

You are the one that posted it.... Now, I am not sure about Tige but they do say teak today on their website when you are looking at the standard accessories on the boats.... I wonder if the dealership has a better site regarding what they are selling to their buyers.... Hum??????
