Where is everyon with thier Teak Swim Decks?

    Mine is finally delaminating cracking.

I keep my boat at the Anchor Inn in Parker and oil ( sunbrite) regularly but did not help.

Other than some minor warping, my 03 still looks great. Regular oiling is all I do right now, including the bottom side.

          There it is.
We spray'd on the teak oil,, both sides.

Our new Tige' step is Fiberglass.
Teak is cool, you can sand out scratches, gonna miss that feature.

            WOW!

I love they way teak looks. It like leather vs Naugahyde.

            Is Tige offering Teak again?

My teak deck is still going strong. I clean it once a year and oil it regularly.

Having the same separations (warping) from the two layers of teak and cracking. Frustrating considering its an 06' 24VE that is always garaged and oiled several times. And of course 1 year out of warranty. I finally brought the step home from Havi and went to work on it. I clamped the boards back to flush, pre-drilled and inserted more stainless screws. That solved most of the problems. As for the cracking, oh well.

My 10 year old teak is doing fine. Looks like it will do another 10.

I just refinished mine with great results. I will attach some pics. I used the Starbright 3 step, extra fine sandpaper and a clean wire grill brush (and a bunch of elbow grease!!!)
                          It looks fantastic.

So you oil on a regular basis? How often?

I usually do it every 4-5 times out....these days that means once a week.
