Dang! That is a sweet looking RZ2! Post some more pics, I want to see your bow cover since we are thinking about having one made for ours.

    Congrats on the purchase!

Glad that an astute mechanic found the source of the leak before you overheated! Sorry it took so long.

You never noticed antifreeze when you took out the plug?

Exactly what we thought??? When we took out the plug, nothing came out, not even water. Is that normal? We put 2 hours on the motor that day. Haven't had it out since. We are taking it out tomorrow for the weekend.

Yep, pretty normal on the Tige's. I never have any water in the bottom of my boat. Unless we introduce it climbing in and out soaking wet.

You got one of the color combo's I was looking at for the RZ2's.

However, the problem with the gas guage is not fixed. It is the fuel sender and they are having problems with Tige send them the part. They have known they needed this part for a WEEK! We asked for the numbers to contact Tige direct. They did not give it to us and now we are told they will have the part and have it fixed for us by tomorrow afternoon. . . 8 days later? What is up with that? I am NOT impressed! It seems like after the sale of the boat..... they do not care! T

I can assure you 100% Tige will not be able to resolve your Fuel gauge issue. Don’t waste your summer with your boat in the shop on this issue.

The way to check the fuel on a $70,000 dollar Tige, is to come to a dead stop and sit for a couple of minutes and allow the gauge to settle. ALWAYS carry a 5 gallon Jug on the Boat and in the back of the truck.

Tige owners get used to the smell of gas .

The answer to the fuel guage problem as posted by Tige MD former mechanic at Tige Corona :

Use a stick with markings on it and dip it into your tank to meassuer the fule level on a Tige:

i will never take my boat in for work in the summer, they are back logged, and warrenty work is always last done. so get your boat, do as everyone else said with the gauge, and enjoy it, heck that's why you bought it.

I beg to differ Sir, mine works perfect. I agree not to bother with it til the off season, but the new ones do work.

Mine is new and does not work.

Read the posts I linked to and find many New Ones don't work.

                            Including new ones on RZ2's.

I've read all those post, and replyed to some. Mine did not work from the beginning. Almost ran out the 2nd trip out because of it. After that, we filled up before each trip out and let it go til the off season. I will find out what part# sending unit my dealer installed recently. The Tech said it was clearly different then what came out. Sounds like Tige IS working on the fuel level issue.

                              When was yours replaced last?

I am going to pick up my boat this afternoon and deal with the gas guage later. Yeahhhhh! Leaving for the lake in the morning .... Here is a pic! I will take more and post on Monday! Thanks

Watch your snap down cover closely. I bought my boat from Taylor's also and had a few issues. The dealer took care of them. The only issue I am having now is that Sugar House Canvas build the snap down cover and it is just barley two years old and the seems are coming out of it. Also when the screwed the cover snaps into the boat they did not pre drill them or courter sink and sand the gel coat. Thus I received gel coat cracking all around the snaps six months later. Keep and eye on that. That will not be factory warranty. Sugar House Canvas only cover that for 90 days. NICE LOOKING RIDE THOUGH. Taylor's really knows how to accessories the boats.
