Anyone know how to use these?

I remember my salesman from Tige briefly explaining to me on how to use these whenever I have my cover on but dont remember. What do the straps hook up to? I know the short pole goes in the bow and the tall one sits in the middle of the cabin area. Any tips on how to secure these?

    Thanks

I have no clue. I had my dealer make a simplified set up. I have tried to hook them up but there is no way

I think the short and long pole need to be swapped. The white straps with the buckles will go aroun dthe grag rail in the bow and the black straps with the stitched loops will go around the aft cleats. The strap between the two will hold the whole rig up while you put the cover on.........I think so, I have a single pole version and thats how I set mine up.

I say the heck with poles. Go to Home Depot or Lowes and spend 10 bux on PVC. Make yourself one of these:

I don't have the two pole version. I only have 1 pole.

My pole goes in the rear of the cabin and extends. The black straps loop over the rear cleats. The front straps extend into the bow (under the windshield), loop through the handrails and buckle. The straps should be pulled tight. This keeps the pole upright. I actually like it better than the multiple pole system some covers have.

I'm getting an 07 2 pole set up because the single pole will sag in the bow and collect water P.S. JeffT I run my white straps over the windshield, havn't tried inder

I'm under a slip, so It would be pretty difficult for me to get water up around the bow area. It really shouldn't make any difference which way you run the straps...I wouldn't think. The straps should be at a slightly different angle than the cover. I don't think you will get any support out of the straps right?

'Bout as much support as a Dead Beat Dad, so I am going to try the 2 pole deal and see

It is for rain to go under you cover. The longer pole goes in the back and the black strap connect the two poles. The white straps go to the cleats in the front and back. The back straps might be black? The front straps have clips so you can adjust it. It works very well just don't tow with it on.

Why not use PVC pipes like someone mentioned before. It would cost you a lot less money unless you want a cover like Original Wing Nut.

chpthril is correct. Not sure what the shorter pole is for, perhaps it's for the bow of the RZ2. On the regular bow, you don't really need it, but it's probably required for the picklefork bow.

uh, why do you need these for the cover that Tige' gets for you for the RZ2?
I dont use one and never have water on the cover.

On mine. I only have a pole in the rear and I dont have a problem with water collecting in the bow
