On the taps issue... crawl under the dash. See if one of the wires (prob. green) has come loose on the back of the taps gauge. The nut is prob. laying on the floor somewhere. I've seen this happen more than a few times. If that doesn't work... follow the green wire back to the throttle. See if it's connected. It could have came loose there as well. Quick 5 mins fix could save u the trouble of going back to the dealer for the taps issue.

It has to be the oil pressure or trans oil pressure because he said he had to stop the motor for the alarm to turn off. If it was the depth finder it would have turned off.

I agree. I had an alarm sound when i was at high speed slowing down. My oil level was a bit lower than it wanted to be.

I to thought maybe it was a trans thing but the Tige rep told me there was no alarm for the trans. I have an 07 though.

i forgot to check but what kind of a boat. I had to replace my oil pressure gauge on my RZ2 but when it comes on check your oil pressure and check your oil if its a new boat you could be running thew more oil then you think cause the rings on the pistons have not seated to the block so its uses more then you would expect. but when it comes on check oil pressure and temp gauges and then after a while does it go off? but i would check your oil level first....but thats my
