    Krazy glue on vinyl

Our tige plate on the back seat in the boat kept falling off so decided to glue it on with some krazy glue. Unfortunately it dripped on the vinyl in two places....any ideas to get it off? I may have to replace the whole cushion.....

try Goo Gone, it's a mild solvent.

Finger Nail polish but I an not sure what that would do to the vinyl. You can try the finger nail polish on a spot that isn't noticeable and see what happens. Other than that, time will be your best friend when removing Super Glue.

FYI: Our plate came off also but we used Rubber Cement to glue it back on because there are screws behind the plate that need to be unscrewed if we were to re-upholster the boat. With Super Glue, it will be a little more difficult to remove that plate.

I would try some vinyl cleaner first. It may be strong enough to soften the glue up to lift it.

If that doesn't work then try something stronger.
