Pro Rider Eric Gerner came to our Tige Owners Group weekend last month to put on some clinics for CWB (he's a great young man and terrific rider - if you get the chance to ride with him, snap it up).
Eric lives at Smith Mountain Lake and rides/trains behind V-Drive MC's and BU's. For each person's clinic at our weekend event, he rode behind the owner's Tige. He absolutely LOVED the wake behind my 22i (also the interior layout) - he said repeatedly that he couldn't believe that a direct drive could put out that kind of wake. He was able to throw his entire array of 5+ spins, mobes and inverts that he throws behind the other brand's Vs. He kept going for the 'One more pull!' when we thought he was done! And he wasn't riding where it's narrow/fatter - he was at 80 feet and 23 mph - SICK!
All to say, it's nice to know I've got the right tool for the job!
FYI, I run 'only' 350 lbs in each rear locker, nothing up front, and there were a total of four people in the boat.
