I heard that you shouldn't get gas when the tankers are refilling the station, because it stirs up the gas and thins it out or something like that. Im not 100

I stirs up the residual sediment on the bottom of the tank. How do I know that??? Father and grandfather were oil people.

So how does that affect what goes into my tank?

Dirt, water, and other foreign object make their way to the bottom of the tank. When they fill the tanks with gas, all these object get displaced and you will pump that stuff right into the tank of gas and then into your engine.

37 gallons plus 4x5 gallon jugs. So, thats 57 gallons.

Pretty impossible to get sediment from a tank in yours from a decent station. The fuel is filtered numerous times between the tank and the pump. Water could get in there, but not likely dirt. Regardless, you are always at risk of getting the "sediment" from a pumping station. Pumps suck from the bottom of the holding tank, not the top; so if the above were true, you would always have the filthiest fuel going to your cars tank.
