Our boat is brand new and has only been run four times. We are having problems with the accuset cruise control. When you turn it on sometimes it doesn't even recognize that you are turning it on and no light flash on. Sometimes when it seems to be running and the rider falls, you let off the throttle, turn around and get them, then you gas it to get them up and the cruise immediately kicks on and won't do over 5 mph or so. Has anyone else had problems with their accuset? I am used to the perfect pass and really wishing that i would have gotten that instead, since it has digital readout and everything. Any help or info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

With the Accu-set switch OFF, start engine and then turn switch ON.
As you approach your desired speed, press the SET button in the center of the keypad and the red light should begine to flash.
After 3-5 seconds, the red light should go solid to let you know that the Accu-Set has "latched" in.
Now put the throttle to WOT.
Use the UP and DOWN buttons to increase/decrease speed in small increments.
The accu-set will disengage when the throttle is pulled back to less than the set speed when your rider drops and will reset when you accelerate back up to the set speed.
I have found that in order to switch from boarding to surfing or skiing etc, turn the switch off for about 10 seconds and then set a new speed. If you are not getting a flashing red light when you attempt to set, there may be a problem with the unit.Last edited by chpthril; 07-09-2007, 05:29 PM.Mikes Liquid Audio: Knowledge Experience Customer Service you can trust-KICKER WetSounds ACME props FlyHigh Custom Ballast Clarion LiquidLumens LEDs Roswell Wave Deflector And More

Speed set
I think CHP hit everything except I have to add some throttle past my set point before mine will engage. Wakeboarding for example, "hit it" throttle up to 3/4 to full throttle, press the center button at 20 mph but the light doesn't go solid until about 25 or so and then settles back down. Leave the throttle alone until you need to disengage. Drop boarder, pull back/disengage but if engine (or accessory switch) is left on for next run, just throttle up again and it should engage as long as you are throttled "over" your set point. I found it much easier to engage if I just gave it gas and let it do its thing. Trying to "hit" 20 mph with the throttle with the system on and I'll never get it engaged.
Someone told me if you set it at 20 mph but it don't have throttle past that, it won't engage as it needs more up throttle for fine adjustments....make sense?Chris
