Well I finally couldn't bite my tounge anymore this season.

Yesterday I was out at a local lake with my wife and a close couple of ours.
Hade a great day wakeboarding and surfing and dropped of my wife and the couple to get our truck and their suv, like we always do.

I cruized outside the No Wake Zone and waited with walkie talkie for wifie to call. It was busy and about 10 min. later she was in site. She backed down and put the trailer in the first ramp. While she was doing this a boat load of Dillholes came very slowely into the No Wake Zone pulling two adults on tubes towards the dock right where I needed to load, so I waited a minute. I started into the No Wake Zone and a twenty something jack a$$ crossed past me from my port side and started to rock his wave runner back and forth creating waves, well this made me livid and I grabbed my portable Air Horn and blew it and him, he slowed down and I yelled two well placed F BOMBS saying it was a No Wake Zone, that took care of that problem.
I continued toward our trailer and the same Dillholes with the tubes were now at a 45 degree angle to the dock and their tubes were four to five feet behind their boat just floating there with nobody in them and nobode trying to get them in their boat. I did one circle and my wife asked me if she should move to the other ramp, I said naw I'm sure they will move their tubes. I did a second circle and the tubes didn't move so on my third circle I told my wife I didn't care if they moved them I was coming in even if I had to run them over. At this time I am livid and still amped up over the wave runner J OFF so as I was getting closer to their boat I started lobbing the F BOMBS like I was in WW2 and they pulled in their tubes but were trying to argue with me.
Our friends where at our trailer and I think they were a little embarrased at the situation because of my F BOMBS but man I couldn't take the incompetence anymore.

I gotta say though the air horn is great for getting a persons attention.
I got one last year after a boater just about ran over my wife in the water after crashing, I tried the stock horn but he couldn't hear it.

What kind of problems have you guys had and how did you handle it?

Man I hear that. I have had the same problem with a jet ski. He came crusing in totally ignoring the no wake. It was a rental of coarse.

I really think that in order to own a boat you should have to pass the boaters saftey coarse or atleast look at the material cuz there are so many stupid boaters out there.

On the 4th we had a boat with a tuber on it that would pass us and then cut a circle right behind us into our wake. people are stupid.

I picked up a new air horn for the season for $6.99, last years went dead a couple of weeks ago. I usually have it in the drivers cup holder, works well for really good wakeboard crashes.

My wife and I have safe boaters cards issued from the state parks and rec department. Starting 2008 everyone needs to have them in the state of Washington, even wave runners. I hope it will help with the complete ignorance and stupidity out there.

On July 4th at the same ramp I had launched and was clicked in reverse backing out of the ramp when a guy and his wife came from the shore with their boat by my stern towing two young children on tubes in the no wake zone. I can't understand why people are being so retarded.

I had a guy on Friday night put his pontoon in and promptly anchor......yes anchor in the middle of the ramp. It seems he didn't want to scratch his boat against the rubber bumpers on the dock. after a brief "advice" session, he moved his boat so the rest of us could enjoy the lake too.

Here's just a few from the July 4th weekend, 1) jet skiers looking over their shoulder while going 50mph not pay attention to where the ski is going

2) idiots on pontoons whom use their bright docking lights as nav lights (they look like a car with the high beams on coming at you) these retards do not understand the concept of why you have one green light and one red light on the front

3) any retard that takes the center two lanes at their favorite landing in order to launch their crappy 1975 18' boat that won't start

4th of July for us...
1) Idiots trying to pull tubers behind us surfing and then driving by at 15' off the port side between our boat and another boat that was 40' away...
2) Boat tied up perpendicular to the dock so that you couldn't drop anyone off to go get the truck
3) More No Wake zone violators, can people not read????

I swear there are the 3 Holiday'ers as I call them, they only take their boats on Memorial Day, 4th of July and Labor Day and that's it! This past weekend it was the tubers crossing in front of our boat or riding up on our azz, or while we were trying to surf 30' off of the mountainside we had a grandpa in his 38' Cabin Cruiser heading the wrong way down the lake and wanted to go between us and the mountain. WTF!?!?!?! Then after he made it by, someone else decided that instead of going on the other side of us where there is an 1/8 mile of open lake that they needed to go between our boat and the mountainside. I just don't get it!

Man, I forgot the best one of all!!!! These "kids" in a new Malibu were surfing, 1.) no flagger (illegal in Colorado) 2). Kid you not, the "driver" had the cruise control set and was at the back of the boat catching the rope for the surfer and just letting the boat drive itself!!!!

Earlier in the day when we first got there, they were driving down the wrong way on the lake with (no flagger) and the wakeboarder flipped us off and they yelled at us like we were doing something wrong. Later on he figured out that he was in the wrong, apparently...he started driving counter-clockwise like he was supposed to.

Well, I'd use a few less F-bombs because it tends to put people on the defensive, which is not what you want when you want them to cooperate.

Of course, yesterday, we were surfing and this moron comes by with his tube about 40 feet away from my boat. His boat is one of those huge Wellcraft open bows (27' long). We're on a lake that has maybe 8 boats on it and is 23,000 acres and he has to circle us? Later, I picked up my wife who had made some lunch and we're just floating and he buzzes us again. This time, I honk my horn and wave at him to back off so he won't swamp us. So, he stops and starts cussing me out how it's not my lake and all. We were all stunned since all I did was signal him. He did, however, go somewhere else. I thought about going over to him after he'd stopped tubing, but I figured I'd just let things go. No sense in getting stressed out.
