Okay, I know that this may seem like a dumb question and the answer may seem obvious, but I'm posting this anyway to see what you guys have to say. I am still in the process of convincing my wife that we need tower speakers, and I'm getting closer. As I was looking at my setup I realized that our bimini cover is stored right below the tower (where the speakers would go). So my question is; is it okay to put the speakers on top of the tower? I've attached a picture for reference.

I have seen the speakers on the top of the tower but IMO, it does not look good. Where does the Bimini connect to when stored (Front or Back tower bar)? When the Bimini is set up, how far is the top of the Bimini from the first bar and again how far from the second bar? Have you thought about putting the speakers on the front bar of the tower? Sorry, a lot of questions but trying to get a better picture of everything.

Right now the bimini as it is, is stored attached to the front bar. I suppose that it could be attached to the back one just as easily. But then it would seem that the bimini would be right in front of the speakers. I will have to do the measurements when I have the bimini open. I don't use it that much, mainly on our week long trips to Powell.

You know, it's all about what you think looks good. It's your ride. My speakers are below the tower but I use my bimini all the time as the sun has been brutal to me over the years. If you have a big enough sound system, it will blast past the bimini.Last edited by jrtroyg; 07-21-2007, 04:12 PM.
