For you die hard Ipod users.....here is a waterproof case I use when
I am riding my foil. It works great and stays protected from the
elements whether riding or sitting connect to the stereo in the
boat.
Actually, I was thinking more along the lines of a big-screen instant replay. You could add the crowd noise effects of oooooh and aahhhh whenver they crashed or landed a trick.
Slow motion instant replay...that's the ticket.

I think thats the kinda of the whole point with the VPod. It is supposed to be connected to the video camera you have mounted on top of the tower with one of their tower mounts. So you can see what the camera is recording, and also replay.

You probably can buy a car DVD player and hook it up to that thing also...
Just confirmed it. You can connect it to a DVD player.

I think thats what these guys did in some kind of mirror housing. I found them looking for the camera mount, was thinking about it. But the vid screen is probably even a bit to geek for even me.
i was putting off getting an ipod for the longest time until my wife wanted one. once we both got cars that had the auxiliary/ipod jack it made sense to get one. after purchasing that it was all over and i started building my collection of mp3's. although i have never downloaded through itunes, i do like how it will sort the songs and groups. i got my wife a 4gb nano, but i plan on getting a 80gb so that i can at least carry most of my music with me. ipod took over with the market share and its forcing more and more companies to come out more features.
