Thanks to some Fourth of July boat wake, wind, and an exposed screw head on my friend's dock my '04 20V now has two quarter sized chinks out of the white, gel-coated fiberglass. Not in very deep, but noticeable on the driver's side near the bow.
Anyone familiar with Seattle area fiberglass repair shops, or should I get in touch with the dealer?
How about ball-park repair costs for this? Looks like it needs just a bit of sanding and filling and re-coating. What about reparing it myself, anyone had any luck with that?
Also, the rub-rail looks bent down a bit where the dock abuse occured. Can that be bent back in place? Straightened, etc?
Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks.
