    attention imscarlet and others

Here are the dimensions of the rear storage compartment on the 20' models from pre 2000 or so. These are pretty plain jane.

Can you get a 69" slalom in there on an angle?

I seriously doubt you can get any ski in there... If it is the same size as my old pre2002, you are lucky if you can fit a pair of ski gloves and a rope in that locker...

The one thing I LOVE most about my new boat, '05 22i, is the cavernous storage space compared to the old boat...

I snagged a couple of the airhead ropes just like that at walmart for 10 bucks each a few years back. Still going strong.
            Be excellent to one another.

You are comparing a 20' to a 22' with a deeper hull and a larger rear deck....I would hope so.

I fit all my ropes (tube, docking line, towing line, and ski line), handles, air pump, a ballast pump and hoses, a couple of bungees for the tube, and whatever else in there with plenty of space left over for trash or other misc things. It is about 6-8 inches deep. You aren't going to get a ski in there. There are gunnel slots for that on both sides. I just rebuilt mine a few days ago.

Why is it so shallow? Is it because of the prop shaft and rudder hardware comming through hull?

Gas tank is under there. It is 32 gallons and sits above the stringers so it sits floor level.
