Well I can tell you that the newer Dodge seats suck. I had an 04 and it was decent but the 06 seats suck a**. Ford and Chevy both have better seats.

Speaking of hitches, I was looking at my brothers and he is pulling a 6500lb camper and it has some kind of wieght distribution on it where it doesn't squat the truck at all. I would think this kind of hitch would work well on a boat also?

I beg to differ on the ford seats. The headrests lean forward and push against the back of my head, causing neck strain. The '04 and later F150 and the '08 superduty are both like that. Chevy/GMC have typically been more comfortable than both.

Re: weight distribution, does he have airbags above the rear axle?

The Dodge seats do suck. I find the top of the seat to hit me just in the shoulder blades. I am pretty tall, but with a skinny butt and all, I am not that tall when sitting. The head room is fine, but the seat hits me all wierd.
              Be excellent to one another.

Sorry about that, I was speaking from just sitting in one on the lot not having one long term on the Ford. As with the Dodge I thought it was ok in the lot and now I really don't like it long term. I really have to do something to the seats when I load and unload the boat, I get the seat wet everytime.

On his truck, it doesn't have airbags just the load distribution hitch. I didn't realize how much the load distribution receiver helps until I saw his and the hitch is huge with that swaybar attachment. It really blows my mind that it doesn't squat the truck at all with it attached. I haven't really got a close look at the underneath area so I'll have to snap some pics soon.
