Possibly buying 2003 V20...is it a good deal?

Hi,

I'm new here and am fixing to pull the trigger on purchasing a 2003 V20 from an individual. I know the history of the boat and it only has 130hrs on it. Mechanically the boat is very sound but it has been out in the sun. It has a faded dash and the upholstery has some wear including some minor holes/cuts. He is asking $26,900 for it. I test drove it today and everything runs great. The hull looks good but the tower definitey rattles a bit. Is it worth it? How hard is it to repair the upholstery?

Check NADA for the value of the boat and don't forget to add the trailer. Upholstery can usually be done by a local shop or you can order the skins from your local Tige dealer, which is what I did for a damaged panel. Good luck.

I'd also check some of the Tige dealers. Many of them have used boats for sale and show their inventory online. You can get a list from the Tige website.
