I will do it again if I'm out there and I see some tuber out at 7 am. using my wakes. If they want choppy water or wakes then why not stay where its choppy? Plus I give a &*%$. we all asked nicely. and they should have a little more courtesy to people who are boarding in one area. He didn't have to come all the way up to where we were, driving right behind us. Though he did. So we asked.

had that guy tried anything stupid because we asked him to go further down, he would have been dealt with real fast. Not like we threaten him or anything. We just asked.

Da.Bell - As for where we were it was just up past ratsnake bar. We were taking runs from the 5 mph zone to the dock at ratsnake. That guy should have been on the main or down the north fork by the main at least. Its was still glass all over. This guy was using my wakes to have fun with. Plus not very safe. What if my rider or myself fell. With a speeding boat coming up behind you thats not cool. So there was more than one reason we chased him down.

Thats too bad. Honestly, I would rather have that tuber on our lake than you with the tude.

Hey, I'm good. That was exactly where I thought you were. The time I did pull children thru that area on a tube was a direct shot out of there. Too many boats and not a very wide spot to be tubing either. They should have been about 1-2 mile south of there.

ragboy, I am not sure tigeblue has the tude here. That area is rather small and definitely not a place to tube.... Getting into the 5 MPH zone there is only 20 yards across and rocky sides. To top that off, a TON of fisherman use that area to fish and go into the 5 MPH zone to fish also. Again, definitely the worst part of the lake to tube at IMO.

I have pulled my children thru there but in a straight line and didn't weave in and out of wakes. I knew that this area is bad because of the traffic that comes thru. Yup ... AGAIN! I was keeping my mouth shut I will say this though, IMO (and just mine unless someone wants to join me!) this is the Tigéowners boat forum and not the wakeboarders bitch board, this topic is more appropriate for wakerboaders.com or wakeworld.com especially with the 'tude i'm seeing here. This board has always been friendly with a humorous bout now and then and i fail to see the humor here any longer ... so much for that huh?

Blue, I can understand your frustration but your just plain a$$ wrong. period. First off wakeboarding is not the watersport to end all others, it's just a freakin' sport, period. I see way more wakeboarders with 'tudes than any other watersport, even all together (With the exception of coastal sufers and their game is about up). What gives? Neither you, me or anybody else has the right to lay claim to any body of water any more than anyone else, no matter who's freakin' there first. It's public domain, anybody, anywhere.

And for the record i'm not saying he wasn't disrespectfull of your space and agreed shouldn't have been playing off of your wake but life's a b!tch, get over it. Blue, I can understand your frustration but your just plain a$$ wrong. period. First off wakeboarding is not the watersport to end all others, it's just a freakin' sport, period. I see way more wakeboarders with 'tudes than any other watersport, even all together (With the exception of coastal sufers and their game is about up). What gives? Neither you, me or anybody else has the right to lay claim to any body of water any more than anyone else, no matter who's freakin' there first. It's public domain, anybody, anywhere.

Agreed, but fisherman rank right up there. At least on our lake, they get that tude a lot too.

When he got closer, I smiled and waved and apologized but he said: "Looks lik you kids are having fun!" That was the end of that. He didn't complain at all. I was a little surprised....

Had a very similar experience on Pedro a month ago. A buddy had his Sanger's ballast full and was riding past coves while a bass tourney was going on. We were parked watching and i noticed the wakes just hammering this bass boat. These guys come over and while i thought they we're pissed, they just wanted to comment on his riding ability and stated it looked fun but they were to old for that! LOL! We talked a minute and off they went, at 70mph mind you!

I was going to keep my mouth shut as well, BUT wake boarders with attitudes are similar to snow boarders with attitude. There are areas that don't allow snowboarders and it is a direct reflection on their attitudes towards skiers. The snow skiing population is older, more mature and last of all have a lot more money. They have and will continue to keep some areas all to themselves. I have several clients that won't ski anywhere but Deer Valley, skier only resort. So my opion here is unless you have the money or influence to make it your own personal lake, then share and share alike.

MOST OF US THAT DO TUBE WILL NOT DO IT AROUND PEOPLE THAT ARE BOARDING/SKIING BECAUSE WE HAVE A LITTLE COMMON SENSE AND COURTESY......BUT ALOT OF BOATERS DON'T GET IT AND THAT IS WHEN SOMETIMES YOU SHOULD GIVE THEM A HEADS UP ON COURTESY.
