So we were riding the other day at 6 am having a blast. We were in the north fork at Folsom just past rattlesnake bar. Well....

around 7 or so I see this boat jammin by doing circles

a damn tuber!

what the heck are they doing out at 7am! thats twice already.

well there went my butter. It really pi$$ed us off.

So before I grabbed my flare (anger control)

I chased him down, and we stopped right next to the guy and to ask him to go to the main body of the lake where he should be. He said something like we don't own the lake. I said true,(smarta$$) but we are out here to avoid choppy water during the day, and we would appreciate it if you went somewhere else. After a few seconds it sunk into his brain and he agreed to leave the area. I think he was shocked we had even asked.

and guys this was a 30 or 40 year old man riding the tube. Pathetic.

as a boarder Im really touchy about the water I ride in. When i see this kind of stuff at 7 am it really gripes my a$$.

we were at powell and got up at 630 for some rides. around 7 this huge a$$ boat probably like 28 ft busted out the tube and just spun circles while 3 other boats were trying to get the good water... i just cant imagine who is on the lake at 7 to tube.

Right there with you Tigeblue. Our lake opens at 9 am and 99% of the members are hard cord skiers/wakeboarders. But we have this one family that drops there boat breaks out the tube and starts spining around. We have talked to him, but he does not care there family only tubes never skis or wakeboards.

Finish up, Then start tubing just as the boarders are showing up! Just to piss off the boarders that think they own the water!!!!

Actually I'd rather tube on smooth water. The rough water just beats the crap out of you! Use the boat to make some massive waves and get some good air w/ the tube! And yes, I'm prob. pissing lots of people off w/ that post. But who cares.

We own a tube but we only break it out when its too rough to ski or board.

The purpose of the tube IMO is not to go on a little pleasure ride, its to hold on for dear life! If they wanted it to be relaxing they would put a lawn chair on some floats and an eye hook on the front, maybe even a cooler.

Well, there were so many tubers at Folsom Lake today that I lost track of the current count. But, that is what I get for going out after 4:30 PM. I guess I will try the South Fork next week.
