        How low is it

Any one know how low the water level is right now at San Antonio? I don't know the lake and I really don't want to take out a prop and other hardware.

EVEN WHEN THE WATER IS CRAZY LOW THEY DON'T HAVE ANY HIDDEN STUMPS OR ROCKS/SAND BARS...WELL NONE THAT I HAVE EVER SEEN.

              Anahaney,

I need to take you out on a lake and teach you about reading the lake that and your depth gauge are your two best friends. I'm sure you can figure out the reading of the lake, just read the coast line, what does it look like, is it a sharp drop, or a gradual decent. are there trees on the shore, or rocks, etc etc, you can really figure out the bottom quite a bit by doing this. That and there are so many boats on the water now adays, that all the stuff that is there, probably is destroyed by other idiots.

I was told that they are lowering nas due to the drought. they need it for farmers and drinking water. but just what I was told and heard on the news. San is supposed to still be full

Dom, that is great 95% of the time. However, there are under water mountains in Folsom Lake that do not appear that they are there until the water gets low.......

thanks for the heads up da.bell. I'm new to canyon lakes, so will need some learning, but at the same time, don't these "Mountains" slowly rise so you see it on your depth gauge?

Yes and no. They are marked well in Folsom Lake. I am trying to find one on google maps but the water was high but I will copy and post what I mean here shortly.
