Domsz I will let you know about it if we go. It would be cool to meet up with some of the other Tigeowners. I can't make any of the reunions this year.

yeah let me know. The week your talking about going I'll be in Santa Maria working on a project, so could just bring my boat early in the week, and then take a day or two off or even just some evenings and meet up. It's only like 45 minutes from Santa Maria.

That is because you are on the big bodies of water (Havasu Springs and Lake Mohave)

Moabi is the place to be (almost never a thunderstorm) and camping right on the water!

                  I want to come

Okay, I talked to the wife and she says we can go Thurday and Friday. We will get a hotel in PASO or one of the little houses. But I do not want to take the houses if you guys are so let me know so I can schedule a room at a hotel or a little house. That is if I can come?

That would be great, just know this is planning for next year 2008. I know it sounds crazy but I have to plan all of my river trips a year in advance and am working on a group for next year. So far I think I have 3 families ready to commit. We are looking to make it a Sunday through Thursday trip. July 20 - 24 or July 27 - 31. I have to see what my buddies want to do. Looks like this might end up being a mini Tigeowners regatta! As soon as I get some firm commits I will post more info.

BTW- All Tigeowners are welcome to meet up with us.

                            San Antonio

Hello, We camp at San Antonio all the time--North Shore, and leave the boat in the water. Love San Antonio Camping. We camped at Nac. last weekend, and definately a little more challenging. As far as the lakes go, San Antonio's water seems to have more algae in it currently, and it does not have to many coves to anchor and swim. The lake is shaped sort of like a cigar. Nac., (The Dragon Shape) however seemed to have cleaner water and several areas to hang durring the day. I would also add that San Antonio is difinately more family oriented. All that being said both lakes are nice, but Camping at San Antonio is much better, Nacimiento seems to be nicer for boating. (get there soon before the level drops anymore)
