we love our new tige BUT there is one problem; the upholstery is really poor quality. we had one small rip within the first hour of use in the new boat and within 7 hours there were 3 all together. we werent being careless and we dont understand how tige can make such fantastic boats and put such pathetic materials in for upholstery. does ne1 else have this problem???

Nice boat. I have two three cuts but one was from a wakeboard fin, another one (um, let's say the kids did it and the IDon'tKnow ghost came out), and the other one was from the bimini top when I took the tower down. After that, we don't have any others but I think the fabric has stood up well for the past year. Interesting that you have problems. Talk with the dealer, they might hook you up I would think.

Nice boat, I like the color combo. I haven't had any issues with my upholstery but I would think your dealer would do the right thing and look at replacing it for you.

        Good luck!

I have a 2000 model, and just replaced my first bit of vinyl. Good old Texas sun bakes the cover and it lays on the front vinyl and finally caused it to crack. I have 3 cuts from careless handling of boards, but everything else is fine. A friend bought a Tige, because he liked mine, and had some trouble with the seams ripping. They sent him all new interior pieces to replace the ones that ripped. Sometimes I think they pull the seams a little tight and that causes the ripping? Did yours rip in the seams?
                Love the interior colors.

Mine are doing that. In some places it's the seam thread and in others it's the vinyl.

my rear seat did that, but that was from all the in and out and in and out and some of my friends are large, as well as there was that seam in the middle. I had it redone and took that out so it will be good to go. The rest of the vinyl is perfect.

Aha.... And that is why the 24Ve had a section close to the walkthru that flips over to carpet.

My 2001 21i seams are ripping on the rear seat and the passenger seat. The passenger seat is the worst one.

                          Nice boat by the way!!!

You'll notice that there are no more seams on the new boats and you have flip over steps that are carpeted. I'm just wondering if you can get new skins without the seams.
