They probably haven't gained the courage to look online at this forum yet.... Or they have registered when they bought the boat but haven't logged on since.

I wish there were others around but the majority of tige owners don't register with the forum until they feel there is a need. Do we feel used and abused????? he he he
You need kids. I have a crew that jumps in whenever I want to go. And I have trained them over the years. I do nothing. I pull up to the ready ramp, and they all do their jobs. Wife backs in and I drive. Same when we come in. She backs in, I drive up, kids are like worker bees. They get out the babes and the towels. 2 of them wipe down with babes, and the rest clean up trash, put away boards etc. I grab a cold pepsi and enjoy the show. Took a lot of years to get to this point, but man, sure is cool now.

That is right. Every other weekend. It's the weekends that we don't have the children that are always the hardest.

I had a guy in a Mastercraft X45 drive within 25 feet of me when I had somebody in the water. We were in the middle of the lake and there was plenty of room for him to go elsewhere. I saw him later on and gave him a power turn with my ballast for wakesurfing setup.

Gotcha, bummer. It would be hard without the kids.

And no, I am NOT vending about not having the kids around as the thread title might suggest. But, I can vent about not having adults that are willing to come out onto a boat for the day. Oh well, I guess we can't have it all.

Okay, I have to ask. How fast were they going and did the drive signal to you that he was aware that he was that close to the boat and/or rider?

There are times that I can't stop because there are other boats behind me getting out of the lake's fork. I will drive a lot slower and raise my hand to let them know that I see them and I see what is going on. They have ALWAYS waved back to me to acknowledge that I am being alert.

i'm guessing no, as he said there was plenty of room, and in the middle of the lake

Dom is right, there was plenty of room to go elsewhere, the driver ignored us like we weren't even there, we were waving the orange flag.

They probably thought you were in distress because you were waving the flag.
