    broken tower?

So, late into the night, when I'm kind of delirious noticed an issue with my tower. Granted I realize that this is probably due to the speakers I hang, any ideas on how to fix? and no not using my speakers is not an option.

If you look where I drew the arrow. this is an old pic, but what has happened is that there is a slight gap, around a .25 inch when I move the tower. When it's just resting there is no gap. More description is that the right side, looking down like the photo shows is the male part, and the female is the left.

I loosened the screw, and then re tightened it, but it didn't help.

Anyone have any ideas? I have a wake design tower, believe it's the model called a rat cage. or should I not even worry about it?

    Thanks everyone.

    Could those screws be stripped?

Is the connector that's loose or have the holes for the screws worn?

          dog,

you kind of lost me there. If your asking about the screws they are rock tight. I would think that the connector is loose. Not sure. I'll look into it more tonight. Not sure what I'm looking for, but will investigage.

Well, the screws could be tight to the connector underneath it, but the holes going through the outer tube could have worn a bit so their bigger than they used to be...but .25" is a lot for that.

How does the connector stay fastened to the tower upright? Are there screws that we can't see for that?

like I said, all I saw were those screws, and the gap when I pulled on the tower. the other side doesn't do it. I'll look more tonight when I get home.
