Okay, well it is always good to hear stories like this. I thought we had it bad with 2-3 foot swells about 6 weeks ago in Folsom Lake, CA. Now, TAPS was stuck on 8 and I know we didn't take in as much water as you.... The bilge pump never kicked on but Tige's are build tough....

well I"m glad to see your ok, and also glad you made your girls put on jackets before leaving the boat(granted you probably had them on already)
I have been caught in a storm like that, turned nasty, started to hail, and my poor dog was just a puppy. She was NOT happy with me.
Tiges float, and float VERY well! I have had almost as much water in my boat, again not intenionally and the boat still floated. Makes me feel very comfy about my boat! Tige's are GREAT in so many ways, let me tell you!!!Originally posted by G-MONEYIt hurts me to say it but go OU but only for this weekend!!!!

That's just plain scary! We were at Hogan this weekend and i took one over the bow and damn near flooded the boat! The worst part i was i was at rest, motor off recovering kids from a tube when it happened! A big cruiser came around out of a cove at full speed right past us! I didn't even have time to start the motor or close the windshield before the third 3-4' roller in a set of three crashed right over and flooded the boat! Everyone panics, kids are yelling, i'm getting the motor started and getting moving! Look how low my bow is in the water, then look at what came by! ... The sad part is the a$$hole didn't even look at us!Attached Files"Call me anything you want ... Just don't call me NOBODY!

Razz, I am sure you can get it lowered even more... he he he
We saw a cruiser this weekend on Folsom Lake that decided to push some 2 foot rollers our way. Seems that these drivers just don't care or just don't realize that they are the problems to a lot of the swell issues. However, we did talk about me going to Hogan's Lake next month where we won't be able to hook up until Sunday but it is nice to know that there might be some problems out there before I get there. Thanks
