i guess i will have to look at my options when the purchase time comes. being that i would be a first time boat owner i was thinking i could get practice launching and loading the boat along with teaching my wife how to drive it.
A good way to practice loading the boat is to go out in the middle of the lake and find a buoy to drive at like it was the trailer. This is what we did when we got our first boat and it worked really well. Just try and get the nose of the boat headed straight and slow at the buoy and then reverse when you get close. It saves you from some embarassment at the launch ramp if you aren't very good at it yet!
