That has happened to me a few times but I go around tightening the screws that hold the rub rails in month now.

Now that I am sitting on the loaner trailer, the damage to the hull that started this thread is clearly exposed. It's not pretty! Here is a pic of the damage and of the bling trailer. It ought to be easy to get an estimate on the gel coat repair now, now that it is in the open. I was going to have to take it to a guy and have him hoist it off the trailer to see it. "Not now!"

Keep in mind this one is an EZ Loader also.

As for the scratches, I am not sure if ouch quite covers it. If I had the boat for ten years and then something like that happened, maybe. But in the first 6weeks of ownership......................................... .....

Sh*# happens, and it can fixed and its not that noticeable when in the water, Providing Stuart is able to take care of everything, I will move on and eventually probably forget it ever happened. It will just end up being a bad memory that every once in a while might be, "hey," you remember when?

It looks like the trailer wasn't wide enough for the boat. Remember, a Tige is a good 6" wider than most other inboards. Perhaps they sent the dealer the wrong trailer and no one really noticed. Your guide poles (rollers) should be a couple of inches wider than your boat.

That's the way they are on my boat and I've never had a problem.

I agree. It doesn't look real good with the classic color scheme of the boat.

That black trailer is sweet and I love the spare tire storage. It hurts looking at that "scratch" although scratch just doesn't seem to do it justice does it? I'm sure it will get fixed and be a distant memory................

I think "gouge" might be the appropriate word. What a shame that bad trailer worksmanship caused that deep of a canyon in that beautifully laid Tige fiberglass and gelcoat.

That is a rip in the fiberglass. I would be concerned about water getting into the fiberglass and causing blisters, but since the rip is so big, I guess the water will just dry out.

I like the new trailer, BTW.

So part of your problem is fixed, (or at least with an acceptable temporary alternative), but now when does the glass get repaired?

                                "Good News!"

Got call today from Rusty @ NAMG, he said EZ Loader finally gave the green light on the repairs. That is good to know that they will take care of it and Stuart @ NAMG doesn't have to suck it up. Puts me much more at ease knowing that I wont be sitting back trying to get reimbursed for the repair.

I was also told that the wheels are in motion to get replacement trailer. Not sure what it will be. I just got in from a late afternoon ride, and unloading off of this bling bling EZ Loader was awesome, difference was like night and day. The boat backed right off the trailer with hardly any effort at all, loading back onto the trailer was even easier. "I think I like this one." Not sure what is so different about the bunk set up, but this one is easy off and easy on. I sure could get used to this, especially after getting used to straining off and straining back on. Maybe it's the red carpet that has high drag factor.

I would like this trailer set up with out the pimped out wheels though. Maybe they can make me that bling set up with wheels like whats on the other one.

More to come, will keep you all in the loop. Thanks for everyones support and advice.
