Way to go! That is awesome!

I guess my next comment belongs in the "Idiots on the lake' section but it is related: My wife was coming in perfect to line our boat up with the trailer, the guy next to us backed his boat off, and then turned right in front of her! She had to hit full reverse to miss the idiot. He was on the end of the ramp, he could have backed up or turned to the left and been by himself, but he chose to cut across the whole ramp without even looking. I was yelling at him but he was acting like nothing happened. She tried to recover and come back to the trailer but was little off. I could tell that she was rattled, so I just told her to turn it off and I went out and hooked the boat to the trailer and winched her in.

I think my kids may have learned some new vocabulary that day from their mother.

Well, just think. They were going to learn it some day. I guess it is sooner than later.

We had one at Katherine lading at Lake Mohave.
The guy had a 30’ I/O tied up just to the bow, so the stern was just sticking straight out into the lanes. My wife was just about to go around him when he decided to put it into reverse and leave to dock. Cut off my wife and a guy in a flat bottom. My wife had to punch it and turn into the slips. I thought for sure she was going to hit something!
But about 1 min later my boat came out bow first and she loaded it on the trailer.
She was yelling and asking me if I had seen what that @@@ did, I was too concerned about the boat, and checking the boat for marks to hear her. But not a scratch on her. Oh ya my wife was fine to.

My wife loaded for the first time today. She did great. 5 or 6 boats around pier on one side another boat trailer on the other and came right up. I did have a bayliner trying to turn in by the pier almost end up on my swim platform while I was winching it tight though.
It was my first time at this lauch and I won't be going back to it. Way too crowded. You wouldn't think it would be hard to pull up to the pier, drop your driver and get back out of the way until your trailer is in the water. You can't load until he's there so why get in everybody elses way?
