Here are some pics from today. 900lbs on the side, and about 7 adults in the boat. I'll post some more when I can.

Here is a 30 sec video clip (windows media)
Its actually pretty impressive. This is about her 3rd or 4th time surfing, and she handles some chop pretty well.Reality is only an illusion that occurs due to a lack of alcohol.

So I've been reading about surfing wakes. I understand that more bow weight will create a longer wake and allow you to ride farther back. In the vid below the rider only weighs maybe 145 soaking wet. I can't ride like that, even on a bigger board. I have to ride a lot closer. So my question is, how do you make a "stronger" wake. Does that just mean talleer???Reality is only an illusion that occurs due to a lack of alcohol.

You should probably try and slowly lower the taps down to like 4-5 and see what the wake does. That should make the wake, and the sweet spot, longer.
How to make it "stronger".. From my experience the more weight you have in the back of the boat the taller and softer the wake gets. If you have all the weight in the back and taps at 8 you can definitely make a tall wave but it isn't going to be as "strong" as if you distribute the weight better along one side. The farther that you can sink the whole side of the boat (vs. just the back) into the water, the longer and stronger the wake will be. Just myIf you ain't falling.. you ain't trying hard enough..

ok, you gota forgive the hack, but I don't have an overhead layout of my boat. Here is how I had the sacs laid out on Saturday. Not really to scale as they both fit real snug in there. My only other thought was to put one across the back and the other up the side a little. Not sure if that will be better or worse.Attached FilesReality is only an illusion that occurs due to a lack of alcohol.

Ok, we got 'er dialled in now. We put both sacs as close to the back corner as we can get em, two adults on the coner too, TAPS all the way up, speed about 9 or 10 (hard to tell for sure).
I was able to ride for at least a couple of minutes before I would go and dip the nose or something stupid like that. But I was able to move back on the wake a little (six feet or so) and then come back up. It was a blast!!
Here's a pic of me (yes the tall goofy lookin guy). For reference, I am 6'2".Attached FilesReality is only an illusion that occurs due to a lack of alcohol.
