So I jacked up my 3 blade prop this weekend & was thinking about moving to the 4 blade. I wanted to get some feed back to see what Tige owners are using and any pros or cons
We use our 20i 6.0l in show skiing competition and run a 13x12.5 oj prop , we found the acme prop would flex under heavy load and put the engine up against the rev limiter , she turns about 800 less rpm with the oj and has more hole shot. Our toughest load is 6 man deeping up on single skis and doing a step off at 45 mph.

You have the engine power to push that big of a prop. I have the 6.0 PCM in my 24V and run the same prop size it pull real hard. Depending on the size of the engine you have to be real carfull not to get the incorrect pitch pu into your prop. To much pitch will not allow for much slipage in the water and can make the boat work way to hard to little pitch it will slip a lot and over rev. ACME makes the best all around prop for the TIGE' I have 0 vibrations out of mine and they run real smooth. Michigan props are okay but there in nothing that can beat the balance of a CNC prop.
The oj prop is a cnc prop also no noticable differance in vibration , but the acme prop was very noticable about the flexing , but for the normal use boater I can see no reason why either prop wouldnt be fine, for our use or any heavy load use the oj is the way to go, the other thing that improved was fuel economy.
When you mention enough power remember your boat with 6.0l is a 24v at about 4400 lbs my boat is a 20i at 3300lbs I have extremely good hole shot pulling 5 man jumpers , ballet line and barefoot line and my engine doesnt labor . What ratio trans. do you have?

Walter V-Drive 2:1 ratio. It has tons of hole shot and if you are not carfull you skiers arms are hurting. We pulled four skiers last year at scout camp no problem 7500 feet about sea level.
