My pump locked up when I was running the boat in the yard. I thought the bearing had gone out and to replace it I needed an arbor press and special puller so I just decided to buy a new pump. After I pulled the pump, I think I was wrong...all I needed was the impeller (although I haven't looked at the housing yet..it may be bad).
In the end it has worked out since I plan to rebuild the spare pump each winter.
It is not hard to match up diffrent pumps to your engine and run them. The big thing you have to be carefull of is not to get a pump that is two big. It will rob horsepower and that helps to suck gas. The pumps on TIGE'S unless it is a PCM engine are very common place on other marinizers. They are pretty easy to come by.

My source has 30 in stock List price is 449.91. I can get them at my cost of $275.00 but that does not include freight. I am sure that freight is not truly $25.00. It can't be more than 10 Lbs for that pump and that is a high flat price on freight.
