    ON & OFF hull cleaner

Hey guys, I know this has bounced around on a few different threads and I wanted to inform all of you about a cleaner I bought at West Marine. Worked like a champ, wipe on & wash off within seconds and all of the staining was gone. I was somewhat skeptical at first, now I am thrilled at how well it cleaned it with virtually no effort. See pics. Was $12.00 at West Marine.

I had the same issue this weekend. Babe's Spot Solver took care of it...followed up with some Babe's Boat Bright and everything's all shiny and new.

On/Off is an awesome product. I used it exclusively for in the Chesapeake, the moss built very quickly.

Be very careful to wash it off first with water and then with a detergent and water completely right after use. I also waxed every 3 time with 3M.

It's kind of hard to see due to the lighting, but the first two pictures of the hull show where I had applied it and the line where it hadn't been applied. Look very closely & you should be able to see it. Bright and white on the left and then tea stained to the right.

                  WOW - AMAZING

I finally got time to do the rest of the hull, raised the boat up off of the trailer & wiped down the rest of the hull in sections, the results are amazing, the hull is so white, I can barely see the rest of the boat. I am more than pleased. Like it's new again, heck I'm not sure it was this white when I got the boat new.

Not sure if you guys know it or not but you guys using that acid are damaging your clear coat. In time it will surely show. What you need is a product called Wonderfoam (www.larsensales.com) . Just spray it on and wipe it around with a rag or brush to get it even, let it set for 1 min and rinse it off. That easy! If you follow it up with Restore cleaner wax you will notice when it comes time to clean your boat next the grime will just wipe off. Yes that easy and it won't damage your fiberglass or your clear coat. Just trying to help. Skeeter

There is no clearcoat on a boat.

X2, gelcoat is the first layer sprayed in the mold, but no clear coat applied after.
