                Battery Charging Question

I just installed an isolator and have a question in regards to charging. I haven't needed to charge the batteries since I have added high output alternator, but I have question if and when I need to. I have three batteries and two are ran in parallel. What is the best way to charge the battery, should I unhook the wires from the isolator and charge or just leave connected? If I hook up to one of the batteries that is ran in parallel, will it still charge the other battery if the isolator is connected or does the isolator just control the flow from the alternator?

Moki, one side of the isolator should be hooked up to one battery and the other two WELL while are they in Parallel? Those two could be hooked up to the other side of the isolator if they are in sieries. I am not sure what would happen if you tried to hook up two batteries in parallel and then tried to charge them the effects might get ugly.

Domsz06 that is a hard load on the charging systems with out an isolator and could cause you some ALT. issues.

Oops Sorry about that G-Money, I did not mean to post in this thread. I think it was the black tape pastie that got me confused. We now return to the much more exciting thread than isolators!
