    Tige cruise

Does everyone find that the system makes there motor jerk when you get to speed? When I get at speed it almost acts like I hit a rev limiter. I am also having all kinds of problems with my motor.I have the 6.0 and it has no power and at times has carbon coming out of the exhaust after a fast run. It wont rev over 4200 RPM with 8 people in the boat and no ballast.

I got home tonight and started looking for loose plug wire ect. Found what looks like a manifold pressure senser that has no plug and also a big plug that was not pluged in. The big plug goes to a dummy plug I dont know if it does anything? Does anyone have a wiring diagram for the new 6.0?

No but If wires dont have to do with it, since your saying carbon comes out of the exaust u either have Fouled plugs almost like (cylindars not firing) or Your injectors are putting in too much gas! Which is burning more than it should then it wont fire all of it and just wastes oil and gas then that will come out of your exaust and do what your saying. But Just fool with the wires first before going to a boat Dealer/mechanic to hook the computer up to see about tuning

I checked all the plug wires ect,did not have a chance to pull plugs as it started to rain as it has been for two weeks. The next problem is the Tige dealer is no longer the Tige dealer, I talked to them yesterday but it sounds like it may be a few weeks before they can look at it!I am sure it is a ECU type problem.

There shouldn't be a problem there. If the mechanic is still certified to work on Tige's, then you are good to go. Just because they change their major brand does not always mean that something is wrong. But, I would make sure or find out if the mechanic is the same mechanic that was working on the Tige's before. Good luck.

I have the same cruise "Tige" and was told that because it dials in the speed quicker and holds a more acurate speed compared to the surge of my old perfect pass that the motor cutting like it does is supposed to happen. I have had mine out a couple of times now and it seems to be getting better or I am just getting use to it.

I talked to marine power and they think it is a bad senser but you need MEFI 5 to read the codes and reset them. The dealer here does not have it so I orderd my own so I can do the work myself.

How much for that little baby and will they allow you access to software updates? I would consider one for myself

Mine will surge if I dont put the trottle to WOT after the cruise takes over. The 07 RZ2 we drove last Nov at the Lke Mead Reunion did it also. Same engine, mine with "Accu-Set" the RZ2 had "Tige Speed Set"

The software and cables where $699, they will let me see and reset codes and read data in real time and data log. I think with some software from Marine Power and maybe passwords even more.I got it from www.rinda.com

Dude, you are going to love that. The software is laid out just like what is used with the GM Tech 2. It is real easy to use. It also looks like it includes the MP service manual and will link you to the section in the manual based on what you are looking at in the data stream.

There were some threads on here about the 6.0's vapor locking, may find if you do a search.
