Does everyone find that the system makes there motor jerk when you get to speed? When I get at speed it almost acts like I hit a rev limiter. I am also having all kinds of problems with my motor.I have the 6.0 and it has no power and at times has carbon coming out of the exhaust after a fast run. It wont rev over 4200 RPM with 8 people in the boat and no ballast.

No but If wires dont have to do with it, since your saying carbon comes out of the exaust u either have Fouled plugs almost like (cylindars not firing) or Your injectors are putting in too much gas! Which is burning more than it should then it wont fire all of it and just wastes oil and gas then that will come out of your exaust and do what your saying. But Just fool with the wires first before going to a boat Dealer/mechanic to hook the computer up to see about tuningFor Those About To Ride We Solute You

I have the same cruise "Tige" and was told that because it dials in the speed quicker and holds a more acurate speed compared to the surge of my old perfect pass that the motor cutting like it does is supposed to happen. I have had mine out a couple of times now and it seems to be getting better or I am just getting use to it.
