Thanks Dog, I can see how cruise control would be very useful. My son just got his cast off last week, he went wakeboarding with it on and I was thinking of that picture of your son.

Yeah, surfing really sucks when you don't have PerfectPass.

Anyone know how to surf without using the rope? I can go for about 10-15 seconds then start going back or go to fast and hit the swim plat form lol.

LOL! It took me a while before I found my groove, the trick for me was to put my toes more closer to the wake and find the balance of more front pressure to go forward and back pressure to go back. Keep at it, you will have it in no time! A trick that Lovin Powell taught me is if you are driving and the surfer is losing the wave turn towards him and he has a chance of catching it again.

Here's what we were able to do with no ballast (ok, maybe I count for ballast) and 3 teens:

Dude, you need to get out of TN and go see HI if you haven't been there. I just can't find the sparkling blue lagoon water in there at all.

Here are a couple of our surf wake, about 2000lbs. of ballast and 8 people. The pic of the port side wake looks a little funny since the surfer just fell, but you get the idea. 2006 Tige 24ve, 11mph.

Seriously Dude? Have you checked the wakesurf section? If you need help (which it sounds you do), take this over there and we'll have you pullin' 3's by the end of the summer.
You'll get your chance, smart guy.

An old surfer trick to accelerate and extend your ability to surf any wave is to pump your front foot.
