I just got my custom fat sacs installed. I only filled up the starboard locker for this wake. I think that I need more weight up front. I didn't get a chance to surf, since I was the only driver out today, but it looked like a pretty decent wake. Any suggestions?

I have owned a Tige for over 5 years now and I still can remember which way is up on the TAPS. My hull is quite a bit different than yours, Moki, but I always keep the TAPS all the way up. Your hull has the spray pockets on it, which I think will actually give a better surf wake. Every time I lower the TAPS, the wave becomes more rampy (just like it does for the wakeboard wake) and I have a harder time surfing it. I like the steep wake for my size.
Your boy looks like he is afraid to get too close to the boat. The best pocket seems to always be right in front of him. A little more weight up front will lengthen the pocket.Be excellent to one another.

We went out again today, and it seemed to work better with TAPS around 5, I haven't tried it all the way up, but I will give it a shot next week. The wind picked up really bad today and we were fighting some pretty nasty waves, we had 2 go over the bow and that was powering through them at a 45 degree angle. Tall, he was just getting up on those pics, most of the time he was riding right behind the boat and hit the swim deck a few times with the nose. The first pic was from Saturday and the rest is from from today. In the last pic, if the waves weren't coming over the bow, we were getting wet from the spray off of the waves.

With no ballast and a few peeps, TAPS @ 1 is the best. Add some ballast (560# is all I have right now) and TAPS @ 2-4 is the best.
It does have some affect on size, but most one shape/length and curl like CP said.
I'm guessing that at that slow of a speed, the plate does not create lift, but adds to the displacement od the hull and makes a bigger wakeMikes Liquid Audio: Knowledge Experience Customer Service you can trust-KICKER WetSounds ACME props FlyHigh Custom Ballast Clarion LiquidLumens LEDs Roswell Wave Deflector And More
