As posted in the last thread our computer is down so I am not able to post pics. sorry....
We absolutely love the boat. We have only had a chance to put an hour on but are hoping for more this weekend.
Just had a couple of quick questions:
Our depth guage was working on and off. Some times it would work with precision and then other times it would just read 1.5 ft. even when we were in 90 feet of water. It seemed like whenever it wasn't reading accurately it just went to 1.5 feet almost like a default. Anyone else experience this or have any suggestions? The water conditions were pretty rough as we were experiencing 20-30 mph winds that day.
The other issue we have is that the Clarion remote stereo control on the drivers side has a film on the display that almost makes it hard to read. It looks like a smudge, and it almost looks like there should be a protective film over the display for shipping. But no matter how hard we look we are unable to find an edge to lift the film if that was the case. We have tried cleaning mostly with water and terry cloth (not sure if it's a safe surface for a cleaner) and have had not luck. It really looks as though it's on the inside. I was really hoping there was a film and it the smudge was between the display and the protective film but again we can't find an edge. What a pain in the neck to return the boat to the dealer for this. Anyone else experience this. Or have any suggestions?
