Wow never thought this could happen in one weekend...
Well I just bought a Tige 2100V that has 250 hours on it. If you all saw my other thread, I said the impellar went bad. Well anyways first day we take it out that goes bad ON THE TRAILER! So thats in the shop it should be done this tues/wed. Well i was Bummed for that. Well my neighbor got his AIR Nautiqe and we looked it over all looked good. Well we get it in the water i back it off so far so good. Well we get about a mile away from the ramp and we both noticed a oil smell. Well we kept going hoping it would go away but it didnt, only got worse. So we finally stopped and opened up the hatch, OIL and water was sprayed over EVERYTHING! Board cover, wet suits, dry suits, one spair board i had down in there. Luckily some how i got it all out. Well we take it back to the ramp and my neighbor was just pissed off because we didnt get to ride yet. Well guess what luck came to me. The guy that is working on our Tige is a certified Nautiqe mechanic. Well he just happened to be at the ramp about to take a jet ski out. Well he was nice enough to stop what he was doign on a beautiful sunny sunday afternoon to get in the hot sun and work on our motor. All it was was a simple Hose clamp that went to the Elbow on the exaust. So no major problems there. Well of course we just happen to be low on V-drive Fluid so we just pulled out to be safe of no more problems. Just thought I would share. So close to boarding this weekend but just didnt happen, 2 boats in one weekend... Never thought it would happen.
