Oops/Purposing

So we have these foam boards, and no one uses them for swimming so we put them inbetween the tower and motor cover. Today I lifted up the tower to find that one of the foam boards left an imprint on the motor cover!

Luckily after some Fantastik it came out, but for a minute i thought we would be looking at "Fun Board" all year.

EDIT: Over the weekend, we ran W/O to find out our top speed(42.5mph BTW). We were experimenting with the taps to find where it reaches the highest speed, 1 was the slowest and then slowly moving it up, speed increased, With taps all the way up past 7 to Ludacris TAPS, we had major purpoising, purposing, perplexing... w/e. The boat was literally jumping out of the water. So we had to stop and the waverunner we blew past passed us looking at us like we were idiots Any information or similiar experiences?

For some reason I knew you would reply first..

We have a couple spots that wont come out that really piss us off. There is like a drip on the back storage, and it ran down the length of it. We think its sunscreen, whatever it is it wont come out.

The higher you set the taps above wakeboarding speeds the more it will porpuse
It is only mean for use in wakeboarding speeds

oh and the get the maximum fuel efficency you set the taps just high enough (towards 7) to where it wont porpuse while crusing

When you move the TAPS up you lose the hook and the boat becomes more like a rocker. The more wakes or turbulence you encounter the greater the rock and once it starts it will not go away until you put more hook in the boat (i.e. TAPS) I normally keep my TAPS between 1 and 3 when cruising around and the rougher it is the lower TAPS is set.

you could add bow ballast, MC offers a offset ballast in their slalom boats now which isn't a bad idea

We figured,
More speed+natural running surface=more speed²
In reality,
More speed+natural running surface=stupid³

The water was glass so the was no turbulence, but once it started to bounce it just kept getting worse.

W/o is Wide open and or WOT=Wide Open Throttle

The only way to stop it is to slow down or lower the taps

We are going WOT and the taps is at 7 and the boat is not porpusing at all. How is it possible?
