    surfer on top??

hey we need more board storage and im just wondering how some of you have put your surf board on top of the tower. we want to try that before we buy another rack. and if you got pics show em.. thanks

I usually lean mine against the side of the hull inside the rear hatch. There is is out of the way and easy to get to.
a lot easier the worrying about it on the tower

I'm with CP3 I have mine in the rear locker fins against the hull, slides in out slick. I love the storage in my boat. All my friends with brand x and y have to have their surf boards on the floor while trailering and have had to buy racks for them.
My dad always said "Stupid Hurts". He's yet to be proven wrong, but for some reason I keep trying.

How long of a board do you have? I have the Red Tide that is 5'6" and I don't think there is anyway I could stuff it in there.

My red tide would fit but it was tight. With the new ballast system it will be on the new DBOT5 surf rac
            Let it be!!!

I have the 5'-6" HL Brodcast and it fits fine in our 24v, but I could see that it might be harder to get into the 24ve because the opening for the rear locker is smaller....

Easy for you to say, a new rack costs more than the board. I was about to buy one but when I put it in that perspective its getting tougher.

thats how were thinking to. that surf rack looks good though. if we were to do a rack we would probably do one that holds 2 boards just becouse we always have a freind or 2 that bring there boards.
and i also got our surf board and my dads to fit in the stock racks. they wouldnt fit so i cut out those nipples on the ends and they fit with plenty of room. i posted about that prob a while ago but its all good now

I like how it is cheaper at their website then on eBay, doesn't make sense why anyone would buy from their eBay store.
